CURIOSITY LANDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, I realize I went a little overboard with the exclamation points, but come on! CURIOSITY LANDED ON FREAKING MARS! This is a BIG deal even if some people fail to see it as such. This successful landing not only made history, but it has the potential to revitalize the entire space program by gaining the much needed attention and interest of the younger generations, as well as the world. I have so much adrenaline and feel so much extreme happiness right now. I’m not usually an emotional person, but something about seeing all of those people at JPL celebrating after years of intense, hard work really struck a chord with me; I may have teared up a bit… That’s not even mentioning the horrible Seven Minutes of Terror destroying my nerves. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome of this mission thus far, and I am super excited to see what is to come!
